Nadine is a Wellington-based artist with a passion for people, places and the natural world. Her background in nursing and growing concerns for our environment have developed her fundamentally humanist philosophy. Pieces often reference the fragility of life and the relationship we have with an increasingly chaotic world.
An avid recycler with magpie tendencies and an active imagination, Nadine enjoys giving new life to the discarded and creating a tension between the familiar and the unknown. Piano parts play on in human-like creatures and scrap metal characters are transported into an undersea world where a story is beginning to unfold.
